Banco Popular de Puerto Rico’s Altamira Office Building is the result of a Design-Build process to achieve the most cost-effective alternative for maximizing the use of a 1.4-acre lot located at the corner of the Martínez Nadal Expressway and the Piñero Avenue in Guaynabo. The solution consists of a nine-story steel and concrete office tower and an adjacent nine story post tensioned parking building.

 

The building has 125,000 square feet, is nine stories high and has a parking area with 550 spaces for clients and employees.

 

The project was awarded the XVI Cemex Building Award in 2007 in the Commercial Category.
