The project’s concept focused on integrating the Sanctuary to the surrounding urban space, and opening the church’s structure to the community. The program included a parish house, administrative offices, meeting rooms, a plaza for gatherings, a bell tower, parking area, sanitary services, an arcade and other pedestrian-oriented spaces in between the structures. The project was to be built in three phases. (The project was chosen as the First Finalist in the Design Competition organized by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan but was not built.)
